Spark in the Park: Cops, Community & Kindness (for all)

Join us and our friends from NSW Police for a very special Spark in the Park during the school holidays, celebrating our Year of Kindness! Come along for a fun-filled day of stories, music, dancing and games, with some very special community helpers joining us. Meet local police officers 👮‍♀️👮‍♂️, including members of the Mounted Police 🐴 and Highway Patrol 🚓, enjoy live music from the NSW Police Band 🎵🎺, and say hello to Constable Charlie 🐧, the friendly police mascot penguin. Enjoy special community helper stories read on horseback by Mounted Police Officers , watch the talented police dogs in action, and get a chance to see an official NSW Highway Patrol vehicle up close and have your photo taken inside. There’ll also be plenty of opportunities to get involved, including Sergeant Says (our police-themed version of Simon Says) and a fun-filled game of Red Light, Green Light 🚦 for everyone to enjoy. This special Spark in the Park is a celebration of kindness, community and the people who help keep us safe - with plenty of fun along the way. This event is part of the Spring School Holiday program and the Year of Kindness . Accessibility Randwick City Library is committed to making our events accessible and inclusive.
