Meet the author of one of our favourite scary books, RIP Nanny Tobbins! Join Lucie as she takes us through how she wrote her ghostly stories, then use her writing tips to create your own spooky characters and paranormal pals.
Lucie’s books will be available for purchase after the session.
For young fans of scary stories aged 8-14 years. Bookings essential. Please book one ticket for each child attending.
About the Author
Lucie Stevens is a children’s author who grew up in a semi-rural area of Dharug Country. Her home was definitely not haunted, though she did once live beside the cemetery where the Brothers Grimm are buried. Her debut novel, R.I.P. Nanny Tobbins, was longlisted for the ARA Historical Novel Prize. Its sequel, Nanny Tobbins and the Midnight Plan, was published in June 2026.
