Lights Up Kids Festival is an annual performing arts festival for children aged 5 to 12 at Flight Path Theatre, Marrickville. This spring school holidays, kids dive into drama, music and dance - watching professional performances, create in workshops with professional performing artists, and taking the stage themselves. Whatever your child loves, there is a place for them here. Watch the world premiere of Mooncake: Abrand new puppetry show by Shiny Heart Productions. One moon. Many stories. Far from home. Never alone. Create in performing arts workshops: Puppetry, drama, musical theatre, improv and comedy, and songwriting with Toy Choir. No experience required. Perform in the Inner West Talent Quest: Sing, dance, act, play music and show us what you've got. Solo, duo or group. Free to enter. $1,000 in prizes. Camp with us all day: Our Performing Arts Holiday Camp runs 9am to 3pm across Wednesday and Thursday, and 9am to 12pm Friday for kids aged 5 to 12, including a free ukulele to take home. Every child deserves to create, play, express and feel the joy of performing arts. That's why we built this festival.
