The Mermaid's Recycled Tail takes children on a musical journey under the sea while exploring Nature, the Environment and Recycling.
Hester is an environmentally aware puppet who shows us how she likes to recycle old materials to make new friends. Come and take a tour through the rubbish to meet Trash Monster, Creatures of the Compost and a Fatberg. A 'Super Recycling Hero-turned Mermaid', Hester invites the children to join in the 'Mermaid Dance' as she makes herself a groovy Mermaid tail from sushi boxes. Arty Octopus, the greatest painter in the deep, blue sea, helps Hester on a quest to restore the ocean's colour and help the sea creatures by educating children on how rubbish is negatively impacting our environment.

About Abi Tucker
Abi Tucker is a familiar face on Australian TV screens, as a presenter on Play School and as an actor in well-loved dramas, McLeod's Daughters, Heartbreak High and The Secret Life of Us. She has also performed as a puppeteer for ABC's Giggle and Hoot and presented on the Singalong program for ABC Kids Listen.
