Using the template provided, children are invited to make and animate their own puppets that they can decorate with craft supplies and recycled materials. This workshop creates an opportunity for extended learning after Abi delights the children with her distinctive singing voice, puppetry and storytelling in The Mermaid's Recycled Tail .

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• This workshop is suitable for children of All Ages
• Parents of children 11 years or under will need to stay near the classroom whilst the classes take place and available to be contacted by the facilitator. This is part of the children in the library policy. It is a requirement to drop your child off for any class in the facility.
• Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time to allow for registration. Participants who arrive more than 10 minutes after the start time may have their place forfeited.
• If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket or contact PHIVEtickets@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au for assistance - Continuous "No shows" may lose their spaces in other programs booked
About Abi Tucker
Abi Tucker is a familiar face on Australian TV screens, as a presenter on Play School and as an actor in well-loved dramas, McLeod's Daughters, Heartbreak High and The Secret Life of Us. She has also performed as a puppeteer for ABC's Giggle and Hoot and presented on the Singalong program for ABC Kids Listen.
