Ever wondered what it’d be like to meet a carnivorous dinosaur? Walk alongside a baby elephant? What about getting up close to a mother whale and her calves? At our inaugural international children’s festival, you can. Australia’s leading puppetry experts at Erth have been training the next generation of aspiring young puppeteers. Together, they’re letting loose a menagerie of creatures around the House for Wild Things. Roaming the foyers and the Forecourt, these friendly animals and dinosaurs turn each space into free encounters of curiosity, wonder and surprise. From koalas to elephants and a possum to a mosasaur, there’ll be all sorts of amazingly lifelike creatures to discover. Erth’s Wild Rumpus transforms the House into the wildest zoo you’ve ever visited. In this extra-special Wild Things feature, talented young performers share the spotlight to create a magical, entrancing experience. As you await indoor shows or explore our free outdoor experiences, be sure to keep an eye out – you never know which curious friends you could find around each corner!
