High Tea with Santa returns to The Tea Room QVB, Sydney, from Thursday 19 November to Thursday 24 December, inviting families to share a festive high tea in the historic ballroom of the Queen Victoria Building.

Set on Level 3 of the QVB, each two-hour session features The Tea Room’s signature high tea with a Christmas twist, including delicate pastries, freshly baked scones and sugar-dusted sweets. Vegetarian, gluten-free, vegan (dairy- and egg-free), and nut-free menus are available, making it easy to cater for the whole family.

Meeting Santa and Mrs Claus

For little ones, the real magic happens when Santa and Mrs Claus arrive. Children can share their Christmas wishes beneath the ballroom’s glittering chandelier, and every booking includes a photo experience with at least three digital images, available to download shortly after the session. Additional images are also available to purchase.

Good to know

• Each child receives a reusable Hey Doodle Jingle Bells colouring mat to take home

• Sessions run on selected days, with morning and late afternoon options

• The venue is fully wheelchair accessible, so let the team know when booking

• Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

It is a lovely way to start a new Christmas tradition, or continue a favourite one, for families heading into the city this festive season. Bookings open Thursday 1 October and are essential, as they don’t accept walk-ins.
