About this event
Event Description
The Time is Precious Spring Fair is coming to Cliff Oval, North Wahroonga, on Sunday 1 November, with a family-friendly afternoon of food, music and fun that raises funds and awareness for Bowel Cancer Australia.
Running from 12–4pm, this first Spring Fair marks a return to grassroots for Time is Precious, a local not-for-profit previously known for its black-tie fundraising events. The organisation was founded in 2019 in memory of Rob Bosch, who died from bowel cancer at just 50. Since then it has raised more than $250,000 for Bowel Cancer Australia, with a particular focus on early-onset bowel cancer and the importance of early detection.
What’s on
• Live music, plus dance and community performances
• Food trucks and a fundraising BBQ, with gozleme, dumplings, fairy floss, ice cream and coffee
• Face painting, a jumping castle, kids’ activities and lawn games
• Local market stalls, raffles and prizes
• A fire truck and firefighters (subject to availability)
• A bar upstairs at the rugby club, featuring Time is Precious Gin
Good to know
Everyone needs a ticket, including children. Under 3s are free but still need to be booked. Families are welcome to bring picnic rugs and low chairs, and well-behaved dogs on a short leash. Parking at the oval is limited, so visitors are advised to park on nearby streets and walk down. There is no ATM on site, so bring both cash and a card.
Book tickets via Humanitix.
